Practitioner Referrals
Do you have a patient with a complex or multi-system presentation where progress has plateaued and additional functional investigation and support may be helpful?
Collaborative Functional Support for Complex Cases
We provide structured, gut-centred functional investigation designed to complement your ongoing clinical care.
We work alongside:
• Psychologists
• ADHD practitioners
• Brain and memory clinics
• Women’s health practitioners
• Skin clinics
• Allied health professionals
Consider referring when:
• Progress has plateaued despite appropriate care
• Symptoms remain persistent or multi-factorial
• There are overlapping gut, metabolic, inflammatory or skin concerns
• The client may benefit from structured functional assessment alongside your
management
Our role
Our role is to investigate potential contributing factors — particularly within the
microbiome, gut–brain axis, gut–skin axis, detoxification pathways, inflammatory load,
and metabolic function — and provide targeted nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle
protocols designed to complement your clinical management.
We operate strictly as adjunctive care.
Patients Appropriate for Referral
We welcome referrals for patients presenting with:
Gut & Digestive Presentations
• IBS symptoms with limited resolution
• Chronic constipation (including methane-dominant patterns)
• Suspected SIBO or dysbiosis
• Chronic bloating, food sensitivities, histamine-related symptoms
• Recurrent UTIs associated with gut imbalance
Gut–Brain Axis Presentations
• ADHD or autism with digestive or metabolic co-factors
• Brain fog or reduced cognitive clarity
• Fatigue with unclear drivers
• Preventative support where there is a family history of cognitive decline
Gut–Skin Axis Presentations
• Chronic acne not responding to topical or standard care
• Rosacea with concurrent digestive symptoms
• Eczema or inflammatory skin conditions with suspected gut involvement
• Persistent skin inflammation with possible microbiome contribution
We focus particularly on cases where microbiome imbalance, motility dysfunction,
inflammatory load, detoxification stress, or metabolic factors may be contributing.
